Welcome to Mark's Website After studying music, Mark has made a career in the music business for over 40 years. His career path has taken many twists and turns over the years: The early part of his career was mostly working as a professional musician, touring the world with different bands, as well as composing songs for himself and other artists. Mark soon opened his own publishing company (which he still runs to this day) and ran his own independent record label for many years. Later, Mark’s career path took a (pleasant) unexpected turn, when he was asked to teach (clarinet, saxophone and guitar) for a local music school. This soon turned into working with beginner/intermediate bands in a local high school, directing a local school big band and eventually teaching music at several jr. high and high schools. Around this time, Mark also started conducting several town bands and youth orchestras. This has given him the opportunity to hone his composing and arranging skills even further; also testing his arrangements before publication.
